Palin Charged Rape Victims ... I FORGOT TO SIGN MY NAME ON THE LAST ONE

CNN recently covered the story of how women in Wasilla, Alaska where charged for rape exams while Sarah Palin was mayor. Political figures and citizens of Alaska recall that although other parts of Anchorage, Alaska voted for the Crofts' Bill which would allow tax dollars to cover all expenses towards rape exams for rape victims Pallin's town of Wasilla was stood against the bill fervently. However, before Palin was elected mayor and chief of police Fannon was in office Wasilla allowed rape victims to have exams free of charge. When Palin came into office she fired Fannon as chief and the new chief of police began to charge rape victims for exams that could range up to $1,000 dollars. When asked about the charging of rape victims Palin says that she knew nothing about the fee. Yet Charlie Croft, the former state represenative, stated"I find it hard to believe that for six months a small town, a police chief, would lead the fight against a statewide piece of legislation receiving unanimous support and the mayor not know about it," Croft said. Palin's ignorance of the bill or failure to own up to knowledge of the bill strikes a fear in me. I am fearful because McCain is elected president and Palin has a strong voice within the Whitehouse how can I or any other American citizen belive that she will not charge for fees such as these and when confronted blame the fees or someone else.
